Picture This x 3

Last week I held another of my Coffee and Card sessions in Costa.

I was drawn to a card made by a lovely lady called Chris Schroeder who allowed me too CASE it. Having said that, I don’t feel that my creations are a patch on the original!

We again went back to using the Picture This dies. The two dies in this set are SO versatile. You can see a picture of the dies at the top of this post. Below shows the dies having been cut.

I made three samples for the ladies to choose from. All are shown below, with a product list at the foot of this post should you wish to view any product more clearly, or to order.

With our base card cut to size, scored and folded, we then trimmed both the basic black mat and a piece of basic white card to go on top. This white card is die cut using the rectangular die. The three rectangles are removed, we blended ink onto them using blending brushes.

The three piece are then laid back into the frame and we stamped images from our chosen set over the whole piece using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Now both the white and black layer are adhered together and attached to the base card.

We finished with a sentiment and some sequins (retired).

My chosen inks and stamps were -

Whale Done - misty moonlight and mossy meadow

Dragonfly Garden - magenta madness and crushed curry

Friends Are Like Seashells - petal pink and sahara sand

These were fun to make and simple to achieve. I hope you've enjoyed stopping by today and hope to have your company again soon.

Happy crafting,

Lesley
