Garden Grandeur

I’ve just realised that I haven’t shared the cards I made last month which were created using the, now retired, host set - Garden Grandeur. I used the glycerine technique to blend colour onto the first three cards.

My first card was inspired/CASED from a super card created by Chris Schroeder (Written in Ink).

Chris' card is way prettier than mine! She used a mask but I made a template using a die and piece of cardstock to create mine.

My next card was also inspired by one I'd seen online which was created by Kirsten Kuus. She used a small background stamp, whereas I punched a circle to use as a mask, blending colour over it, and also added coordinating strips of colour.

The top mat of this next card was die cut to leave an aperture. The card behind has three colours blended onto it, a sentiment stamped onto a strip of vellum with three fussy cut flowers on top, mounted on stampin' dimensionals. Doesn't that blending just look soooo smooth!

My last card is a fun fold which I've made many times before, but not for some time. I was reminded of the fold by Paula Barin.

Definitely a fold which can be used easily for many occasions!

I hope you've enjoyed what I've shared with you today and look forward to sharing with you again soon!

Happy Crafting

Lesley
