January Class - A Little Calendar

Some of my Ladies love a calendar.  I'd seen many made with the Tolsby frame from Ikea and thought it would make a change for them to make one of these.

Due to Lockdown, we are still unable to have an in-person class. This meant that they'd have to delve into their stash and become creative when they stamped the images. My calendar is pretty simple, my main issue was finding the frames since they're no longer stocked by Ikea. Below I'm sharing my calendar and, hopefully, by the time I post, the ladies will have sent me photos of their completed projects.

Below are all twelve months laid out - I still need to add some colour to July.

I pulled out some of my older stamp sets and realised that, although I’d wanted a pumpkin for October, I didn’t have a suitable stamp. I made one from an oval and circle punches with a sprig of leaves added. Likewise, I don’t go in for heart stamps. The heart on February is created by punching a heart shape and running it through an embossing folder. After this I lightly tapped Versamark ink onto the raised part of the embossing, followed by heat and stick then gilding flakes. The splatters are from a Wink of Stella pen. You can see the finished piece below...

Now to share the projects made by the ladies. Here are a few, with more to follow.

How very different they all are!
I hope to share the last few with you soon.
In the meantime, have a good week - happy crafting!
