Starting Christmas - November

Everything seem to be turned on it's head this year and we started our Christmas cards in class later than ever!

In November we used 3 designs created by the lovely Cary Buckham. The cards were based on the Snowflake Splendor suite (sorry! US spelling), primarily its patterned paper (DSP). Below you can see the pretty paper....

Here is the first card - so pretty with shimmer paint on it to give a soft sheen. The soft bow on the tag and gentle tones soften the overall image.

Our second card is a DL shape, long and slim. It really shows off the papers from the suite and creates a sharp and crisp looking card.

Our final card is double fronted. Again the paper makes such an attractive finish to the card, both inside and out.

The ladies each made two cards of each design, with a promise that we'd continue with the rest of Cary's creations in our December class. I'll share those with you in my next post!

If you still haven't finished making your Christmas cards (and I'm raising my hand here!) then what better way to get nearer to your goal than by using our DSP on them!

Have a good week,

Lesley
