Craft Fair Display Cards
Back in November I took a plunge back into the world of craft fairs when I agreed to join with two demo friends, Kim and Fiona, and work on a stand with them at the craft fair being held at Sandown Racecourse last month.
I'm often accused of not accepting help when I'm snowed under with class and event preparations. This time I decided to call in the cavalry in the form of some team members and another demo friend. Four of them received emails asking for help with projects for display at the show and boy, did they deliver the goods!
Today I'm sharing these fabulous creations with you. All stamp sets used are from the spring/summer seasonal catalogue -
Jan (Brackpool) chose the music set - Music From The Heart. I asked for one or two cards and received 5! I have photos of four to share with you..
Pat's (Stubbs) brief was to make one curvy card with any stamp set/dies, any colour. I received 2! Pat chose the Peaceful Poppies Suite.
I had an idea in my head for Cathryn (Perkins) and Nikki (Acton), as they love to play with ink and altered art, a decoupage vintage style covered chest to hold letters and a notebook/diary. I had the idea floating around but I wasn't sure what the end results would be. Not only did I get what I'd asked for, there were a couple of cards too! The products used are from the Parisian Blossoms Suite.
Finally, I asked Yvonne (Bevan) to make a card or two using the Best Dressed Suite (although a few samples from the Peaceful Poppies also crept in!). I don't own the Best Dressed Suite myself so thought the projects would make a complimentary addition to my own. One or two? She made 11 plus a candle and a bag!
I think I am really spoilt by having these fabulous samples made for me and am very grateful for the time everyone has taken - a huge 'Thank You' to you all!
