Summer Stamp Camp 11 - 15

Wow! Nice and warm today, it's going to be a nice Bank Holiday weekend so I've a few cards to share with you while you've got your feet up with a nice cool glass of something.
We're now at the end of the cards from Summer Stamp Camp. Here I will be sharing the final 5 with you.
Let's start with this one  -

The base card is cajun craze onto this I’ve added a layer of whisper white which has been embossed with the Corrugated 3D embossing folder. All stamps are part of the Piece of Cake stamp set. I’ve used the coordinating punch for the cake and stand. Ink is calypso coral and the strip of card is terracotta tile which is one of this years In Colours. The three colours are of similar tone and work well together. The sentiment strip of card is fed through a thin white ‘frame’. This was created when we made an earlier card by running a fancy shape die (Perfect Parcel dies) through the bigshot along with the outline die.
The card is finished with a few sequins.

This pretty card is in petal pink and granny apple green. The top petal pink layer has been run through the bigshot with the Tufted 3D embossing folder. Stamps are Free As A Bird and coloured with both Stampin’ Blends and watercolour pencils, then the birds are fussy cut. Dies are Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Nested Labels.  A little strip of foil card and pretty toning petal pink ribbon.

The base card for this is pretty peacock with a layer of crumb cake on top. All stamps are from the set Rooted By Nature. The skeleton leaves are stamped in pretty peacock and seaside spray, they coordinate so well together and the crumb cake adds an extra element along with some braided linen trim.

Here I tried out our new Fluid Watercolour Paper. It's been washed over using a water filled aqua painter and 3 inks - crushed curry, pumpkin pie and melon mambo. Hello was die cut from the watercolour paper using the Hand Lettered Prose dies, this was then cacked with black card before being mounted onto a melon mambo base. The word 'Friend' (Daisy Lane stamp set) is stamped in Memento black ink and a few black sequins from my stach added.

My last card has a soft suede base and crumb cake top layer onto which the flower and leaves from Floral Essence have been stamped in both soft suede and bermuda bay. The flowers have been softly coloured with a white watercolour pencils. Onto this has been added a strip of burlap trim, bermuda bay card and a die cut sentiment in white (dies now retired).
Phew! That's a lot!
I hope you've found some inspiration there to enchourage you to craft this super bank holiday weekend. Yes, I know the weathjer is bound to be a scorcher but you can stamp outside, just remember to protect your ink pads from the heat.
Happy stamping!
Lesley
