A Quick CASE

A swap from our recent training event caught my eye. Although I didn't own the stamp set used on the original (by Sara Sayers), I knew the basic colour combo could be used with different stamps and would be perfect for my Coffee & Card. I also substituted a punch for the dies used on Sara's card.

The base card is Berry Burst, topped by a layer of Grapefruit Grove and finished off with our stamped images on Whisper White card.
I used the sprig from First Frost, such a lovely stamp set which I almost didn't buy! This was stamped in both Berry Burst and Pumpkin Pie ink. I chose a fairly dry old olive ink pad for the leaves, deliberately not reinking it so that the final image was soft and faded. The stamp is from the Painted Harvest stamp set.
I punched a piece of Berry Burst card with the Story Label punch and a piece of Whisper White with the Classic Label punch. Onto the white I stamped a greeting from Itty Bitty Birthdays then assembled both labels onto the card, finishing with two rhinestones.
A simple but quite pretty card which could be made in various colour combinations using a variety of stamps in your stash.
A handy style to have in your stash.
I wonder which stamps you'd have chosen?
Have a good week,
Lesley
