Not The Nicest Cards To Send

Sympathy cards are the cards we all wish we didn't need to send. What can you say to make life easier for someone who is dealing with the death of a loved one. I tend not to make anything too fanciful or with lots of words, preferring something quite simple instead.
Here is a recent sympathy card I sent out.

The base is thick Whisper White. I stamped the triple dandelion stamp from Dandelion Wishes onto regular Whisper White using Versamark and then covered it in clear embossing powder before heating it. Next I daubed Soft Seafoam ink over the image. Then I took another piece of Whisper White, cut a square from the front using a die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, placed the stamped image behind the aperture and attached both pieces to the front of my base card.
Despite appearance, the sentiment was also stamped in Soft Seafoam.
I'm hoping that I don't need to make another sympathy card for a long time!
Have a good week,
Lesley
