Coffee & Card - July

I've held my two regular Coffee and card events this month as normal and thought to share them with you.
The first event was on the 10th and we used one stamp from the two box stamp set Rooted In Nature.
Our base card was Berry Burst. We masked off a narrow panel of Whisper White card into which we gently sponged in in shades of Berry Burst, Grapefruit Grove and Crushed Curry, carefully blending together. Over this we stamped the tree in solid black. The sentiment was stamped in three colours (you could, of course, stamp once using Stampin' Write Markers to colour each part of the stamp), then cut into 3 strips and added to the card front along with sequins. This was mounted onto Crushed Curry card and then onto the Berry Burst base card.
I really love this finished card.

On the 24th I held the second session, the table was full at all times! I'll attach a few photos at the bottom to show you the lovely ladies crafting.
The stamp of choice was Calligraphy Essentials. I used the Stampin Up! sample from the recent Succeed Weekly flyer to create the 'I think You're Great' card, just changing up one colour - the Bermuda Bay to Mint Macaron.
It was a good opportunity for the ladies to try out the Stamparatus, if they hadn't already done so.

I usually forget to take any photos when I'm with the ladies, I enjoy their company so much! This time though I did take a few snaps and am sharing them here with you...

The group varies slightly each time. Many of the ladies didn't know each other previously but now enjoy a coffee and a natter!
The last photo looks a little odd. I've cropped away part of it as Wanda had brought one of her sweet granddaughters with her but I don't think it's right to have children's photos out in the public domain or on social media.
As you can tell, they enjoyed the session and I always have fun with these ladies.
Here's to the next one in August!
