Serene Garden

One of my lovely downline was celebrating a BIG birthday. I was still way behind with my birthday list but I wanted to send her something a little different. When I made the card for her I'd just held a class and on one of the cards used a technique with a Stampin' Blend pen and colour lifter (see here). I decided to use the technique again along with a new stamp set.
This is the card I came up with -

I used the Serene Garden bundle of coordinating stamps and dies.
First I stamped the large border stamp twice on opposite corners then again on spare white card so that I could fussy cut the flowers. I followed by using the stampin' blend and lifter technique to fill in the background areas.
Attaching a silver doily (from my retired stash) behind two corners, I attached this stamped card to the Night of Navy base card.
I die cut the 'celebrate' sentiment using the Celebrate You and sparkle glimmer paper.
Finally, I fussy cut the spare flowers that I stamped earlier and added them with stampin' dimensions and a little Wink of Stella along with pearls.
I hope she had a wonderful day.
