The Saddest Card

For most of us sympathy cards can be the most difficult cards to make. They certainly are for me.

Below is a recent card I sent. I wanted to keep it fairly simple.

The card base and both mats are thick basic white.

The colour block is created by pressing a stamp block onto ink pads then spritzing the ink lightly with water before stamping. The fussy cut flowers are from Abigail Rose patterned paper pack (DSP).

My choice of simple sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set, but, of course, any other stamp could be used.

I'm happy with the finished card but sad that it's one that I needed to make.

Until next time, Happy crafting,

Lesley
