Coffee & Card - Apple Harvest

I was so pleased to be able to hold another Coffee & Card session in my local Costa this past week. These sessions have been intermittent since the end of lockdown, partly due to my having further commitments. I do miss these crafty times!

The stamp set we used is called Apple Harvest. This set has been patiently sitting in my in tray since November, well over due to be used!

The largest stamp in this set can be used to show apples, oranges or, at a push, lemon and lime. We coloured with Stampin' Blends. The sentiment is from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.

Here is my 'apple' card.

Here I've shown the same card with the 'oranges' die cut laid over the top. I've not yet added the orange blossom but you can see one of the apple blossom flowers peeping out on the righthand side.

I really like this version!

I've outlined both fruit die cuts with light pool party Stampin' Blend to create a little depth. The apples were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, coloured and then over stamped again. The oranges where stamped in sahara sand, again I've coloured them and then over stamped a second time. This seems to give definition.

The large die cut scalloped rectangle is from the Scalloped Contours die set. A list of products used is shown below this post. Please click on any to view more clearly or to order.

I hope you've enjoyed reading about this card and it's variation. Join me again soon.

Happy crafting!

Lesley
