Sweetest Cherries

New Year, new Coffee and Card sessions in our local Costa. So good to be back!

A cute card to share with the ladies, using the Sweetest Cherries bundle. The stamp set and the punch can both be purchased separately. A fun set, your cherries don't need to be bright red like mine, they'd look just as juicy in a deep, deep purple shade to resemble black cherries - my favourite type!

The base card is basic white, topped with a mat in pool party and another in white. Both are cut using the Scalloped Contours dies.

The sentiment oval is die cut using the Stitched Shapes dies, the word 'sweet' has been fussy cut. The Artistry Blooms patterned paper (DSP) is now retired but we have many beautiful papers currently in our catalogues which would work just as well.

Since returning home, I've added some fine tip glue to the cherry. Once dry it will leave a raised, glossy layer which will make the cherry shiny, just like a real one! I've posted a photo of the image below, though it isn't quite dry enough yet.

Below, I've listed the current products used.

I hope you've enjoyed viewing today's card, stop by again soon.

Happy crafting!

Lesley
