OSW - Metallic Heat Embossing Part 1

I'm excited to be sharing today's cards with you. They come from our September classes and are the result of creating a One Sheet Wonder (OSW) using metallic embossing powder on black card. I've used a non Christmas stamp set - Simply Fabulous - to create a set of seasonal cards, the first half of the batch I'll be sharing today!

We've stepped up the OSW cards by adding dimension with the use of an embossing folder (also non seasonal - Seabed 3D) and dies. To add a little festivity I've added snowflake images from an old stamp set which all the ladies own, Life is Beautiful. Also, Pearlescent Enamel Effects which was included in the September kit.

Note - some items used such as sentiment stamps are retired/from my stash. The idea is to encourage my ladies to use some of their existing items on the cards.

Without further waffle from me, here are some of the cards -

I think you'll agree, these are a little different to the usual Christmas cards.

I do like alternative 'outside the box' cards. At the foot of this post is a list of current products use, click on any that you wish to view in more detail, or to purchase.

In my next post I'll share the second batch of these cards.

In the meantime, happy crafting!

Lesley
