Busy Times

So, why is it, I ask myself, that despite me spending hours planning classes - some that include Christmas cards - that mine are always so late?? I always used to start mine in September, creating a productions line. My mantelpiece would look like a conveyor belt, accompanied by another row on the windowsill. Perhaps the idea is that I should climb off my hamster wheel and simply slow down.

Prepping for my December class last week I swiftly put together some simply styled cards for my class ladies and a further one for my team.
Shown below is a photo of some that I prepared for my class ladies and customers. A card base of basic white stamped with a sentiment (retired, In The Pines stamp set) in blushing bride.

Blushing bride card stock which has been die cut using the Stitched Triangle dies onto which die cut strips (Basic Borders dies) of pool party have been adhered, topped with a small silver star. Here's a close up....

I also made this card below, which is a variation and was my first idea but decided that it was more labour intensive for the number of cards I needed to create.

Using a different stamp set - Reflected in Nature - I made these cards for my team ladies. I'm sure that I've seen this online somewhere in a lighter blue but don't remember who the original was made by to give them credit for the design. I've stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The sentiment is from the retire In The Pines stamp set, but any seasonal sentiment would work.

Here is a close up of the beautiful White Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I hopped online to order some more but, sadly, it's all sold out.

I hope you're doing better than me in getting your cards made! I best get busy.
