Celebrate the Good Things

Today I'm sharing 2 simple cards that I made recently. You may have seen the first one on my Facebook page as it's the card I made my Dad for Fathers Day....to remind him that he did a good job and made me awesome! I thought it would make him laugh. Much of the product used is retired but you could, of course, use the current equivalent.

The white mat has been cut with a Stitched Rectangle die, the stars are Stitched Stars dies and the letters are from the Playful Alphabet. The congratulations sentiment is part of the Art Gallery stamp set, it has been die cut using the coordinating Floral Gallery dies.

My second card is the one I made to celebrate the promotion of my team member and friend,Yvonne, who has recently promoted to Bronze Elite.

The circles on this card have been made using the 'Picture This' die. Cut in both melon mambo and blushing bride, the melon mambo one has been mounted onto basic white before being adhered to the sahara sand base card. Then I added some of the blushing bride circles into the spaces. The 'Celebrate' sentiment is from a retired die in my stash as are the sequins, the stamped words are from the 'Let's Create Together' stamp set which is only available to demonstrators. However, most of you will have a similar sentiment in your own stash ... or you can choose one from our wide range available.

Congratulations Yvonne! I hope both she and you like the card.

As mentioned, some of the products used are retired but I'll list the others below, click on any to view more clearly or to purchase.

I'm giving you the heads up that we've got a fabulous designer paper offer coming so will be back with more about that shortly.

Have a good weekend,

Lesley
