The One That Started It ...

A card today from a Coffee and Card session.

The base card is in calypso coral topped with a layer of mint macaron.
Onto white card we stamped the flower and leaf from Perfect Parcels (Parcels and Petals bundle) repeatedly in calypso coral and mint macaron. This was cut into 3 strips, layered onto grey granite leaving a little gap between each strip. Grey granite Textured Weave Ribbon is wrapped around the front before the whole piece is glued onto the mint macaron card.
A white die cut (Perfect Parcel dies) is attached to the front of the ribbon and a sentiment cut into an oval (retired punch from my stash) is placed on top along with a couple of rhinestones to finish.

Why 'The One That Started It'? Well, this got the ladies and I discussing Christmas as some of us feel that the flower resembled a poinsettia. This, in turn, made me think about the upcoming Just For Fun class - as you will see in the next blog post on Wednesday!
