Garage Gears

Way back at the end of April I held a class using the Garage Gears bundle. Rooting through, I realise that I hadn't shared my project photos with you.
These are the coordinating Geared Up Garage stamp set and Garage Gears thinlits die sets we used.

We made two fun fold cards - a card in a box and a bridge card - with a few regular A6 size cards too.
Here is our card in a box which has been decorated to resemble a large toolbox.
I particularly love the oil stain, which I’d stamped onto window sheet/acetate so that there wasn’t a background to detract from the ‘stain’
It folds flat to fit in a regular C6 envelope.

Our next card was the bridge card.
I had originally made this card for my son’s birthday.

The white panels haven’t been embossed, we don’t stock an embossing folder in that design, I die cut gears from white card which were glued onto a piece of white card before being cut into 4 panels.
This card also folds flat to fit a C6 regular sized envelope.
It was now time for the ladies to focus less on exact measurements so I gave them samples of standard A6 cards which you can see below. Some of the cards were accentuated with fine tip glue which I used as a 3D liquid on areas such as the car headlights.
My favourite is the more feminine one - that’s unusual for me!

The foil card gears were die cut from the lush SAB special edition foil pack
We also decorated a mini pizza gift box -

Here is a photo of all the projects together...

I had a lot of fun designing the fun fold cards for this class.
I'm delighted that both stamps and dies are carrying over, the tiny charm embellishments too!
