Pocketful Of Sunshine

A July birthday calls for a little sun I think. Pocketful of Sunshine is a set carried over from the previous catalogue, but a new one for me. I also bought the coordinating Pocket Framelits.

The white base card has 2 layers of DSP from Animal Outings in Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Grey, also a piece of DSP from the Brights range in Gorgeous Grape. After layering I used a die from Playful Pennants Framelits to cut a strip of Highland Heather card.
Once attached I wrapped a piece of Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon.
The pocket is stamped in Gorgeous Grape then die cut. I added some reinker tour shimmer embossing pasted and applied that through one of our Decorative Masks to the pocket and left it to dry.
Meanwhile, I die cut the sunglasses in Lemon Lime Twist card, fussy cutting to remove the lenses behind which I added black shrink plastic to imitate sunglasses lens. I then applied fine tip glue over the frame and left overnight to dry, adding 2 mini brads the following morning.
I attached the pocket to the frame with Stampin' Dimensionals and added the sunglasses.
Next I made a tag to go into the pocket.
Here's a close up of the tag inside the pocket..

The tag was cut from Lemon Lime card using the Botanical Tags Framelits (I used the die which represented the sun). Onto this I stamped the greeting and added rhinestones.
I don't have a photo of the inside of the card onto which I stamped the 'Wish Big' stamp, from the Big Wishes stamp set, in Gorgeous Grape on white card.

Surprisingly, I actually mailed this one in time! Well, that backfired since the lovely lady was on holiday! I hope she liked it anyway.
