Enjoy Life, And More Sunshine

It's been so warm lately so I'm really glad of the rain we're now getting. That's not to say that our cards at the Coffee and Card sessions are lacking in sun and positivity!
The first card I'm sharing with you today was made last month with the Pocketful Of Sunshine stamp set. A quick and simple card, but cheery!

The sunglasses stamp has been repeatedly stamped on white card before being mounted on grapefruit grove. The base card is grey granite to match the ink. The pocket is stamped in blueberry bushel ink on coordinating card and has been die cut.

The tag inside the pocket has a bright sun stamped in pineapple punch, the stamp is from Swirly Bird. The greeting is in lovely lipstick. A bright and cheery card to chase any blues away.

My second card was made last week. In fact, I have two slightly different samples, both made in the same way. We've used the notecards as a base. These come in a pack of 20 - 10 with a mint macaron watermark effect and 10 with blackberry bliss,
We stamped the large frame image onto very vanilla with grey granite ink which we then fussy cut.
On the first card we stamped the cyclist, on the second the lady. Onto both we stamped the grass in granny apple green.

Next we stamped the green plants in granny apple green onto vellum and added a sentiment in bermuda bay. Four brads (from my stash) were used to attach the vellum to the vanilla card. Finally the finished piece was stuck to a mint macaron notecard.
It was fun to make something different. I never tell the ladies what we're making in advance so am always a wee bit apprehensive beforehand. They seemed to like them - phew!
It will soon be time to do it all over again!
