Summer Babies

I'm not a great one for making baby cards, perhaps because my boys are older and I don't particularly like 'frilly' cards.
Last month I needed to make two. So that was a bit of a challenge!
I pulled out the super new Animal Outings stamp set. I received it at our Onstage event in April but have only just bought the coordinating dies and DSP. Well, I wish I'd bought them sooner!!!
To view the product online just click any of the images below or HERE.

I'll be using them for a workshop I'm doing later today so won't tell you all about them yet but I'll share the two cards that from last month with you.

This card was for a sweet little boy called Jake whose Mummy is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
It has a peep hole window made using the Stitched Shape Framelits which are a favourite product of mine. The actual kangaroo image is inside the card.
Here is a close up of the inside -

A simple looking card, not too cluttered.
My second card is for a little girl called Esme. Now, by the time I delivered this card I felt sure that Esme would have started school as it took me ages to get it delivered!

As I mentioned above, I've a workshop to do tomorrow and there is a baby card in that selection so I'll share that with you in another post.
I do hope these little ones are getting more rest than I am in this heat, even our lovely bulldog Lily can't get cool.
What better excuse to craft than having to stay inside in the cool!
Have fun!
Lesley
