Dandelion Wishes

The stamp set Dandelion Wishes was one of the first sets to catch my eye in the new catalogue so I was especially pleased to get a chance to create with it.

My first card is stamped and heat embossed onto vellum. I'd prepared a piece of white card some while ago after using reinkers. The inks were in strong orange and green shades, I overlaid the vellum onto this which softened the strong colours, adding a piece of white polka dot tulle ribbon over which I'd attached leaf ribbon.
I sent it as an anniversary card.

My second card was for a birthday this weekend.
I masked off the edges of white card, stamped with Versamark ink and, using white embossing powder, I heat embossed the image. Next I sponged petal pink ink onto the exposed area. The sentiment is from my pre-SU stash.
Removing the masking, the card was mounted first onto copper foil sheets then onto a petal pink base.
Of course, no bare envelopes so that was stamped to match!

I was quite pleased with the end results on both cards. I hope the recipients liked them too! Maybe they'll give you a couple of ideas to create something to send.
