Coffee & Cards

Despite not having posted the cards on here, I've still been running my regular coffee and card sessions. Today I'm playing catch up and sharing with you.
During one session in April, we made this pretty rose card which you will have seen as I've since used the design to make thank you cards. the rose stamp is from beautiful day.

Here are the cards from another session in April, the ladies could choose which one they made. The fox was to encourage them to use a punch in the form of 'tiles', and to line up the pattern on the DSP once punched. Stamp sets are Foxy friends and Thoughtful Banners.

The second was to show them how to use sequin trim to create a scallop edge as opposed to it being just a loose embellishment. The stamp set is Beautiful You.

This card is from Coffee and Cards earlier this month, the stamp set is Feather Together.

My sample appears to have got a little crushed with all the handling. We sponged through a mask to create a patchy background.

Our card this past week was using the stamp set. We stamped and coloured the 3 pens stamp from Crafting Forever then squiggled with marker pens to resemble ink from the pen and used 2 stamps from the now retired Perpetual  Birthday Calendar stamp set to create a large and smaller splodges.

So that's 5 cards from this month and last, each different.
I visit Costa to run these sessions twice each month on a Tuesday morning between 10 am - 11.30 am. The branch is situated on Goldsworth Park and the session is a drop in, meaning that you don't have to pre book. The cost is just £5 and for that you'll make a card (supplies all included) and choose a small drink to enjoy in friendly company. There were 7 lovely ladies to share with in this last session, so you're sure to be in good company.
Email me for future dates or check out the list of proposed dates below (these are confirmed nearer the time on my facebook page :- https://www.facebook.com/LellyJellysStampNScrap/)
