I'm playing catch-up.
This will come as no surprise to some of you - I always have a list as long as my arm. But truly, I've got so far behind since we got Lily, our bulldog puppy in August. Or should I say, Lily, our bulldozer since she just seems to barge her way through life. This week I'm dragging even more as I've been spending more time caring for her since she had an eye 'procedure' on Wednesday.
Add to this the fact that I mislaid an important piece of paper, my #imbringingbackbirthdays list - seems I'm not actually bringing back any birthdays, having lost the list it's now reappeared and I find that I've missed some of the birthdays on it, I'm going to have to make amends. Hence the panic in Lelly’s craft room. I've also had a devil of a job trying to get some decent photos and have just had to go with what I have.
I do love the Wood Textures DSP stack but hardly seem to use it, having just done an early pre-order from the spring/summer 2018 catalogue - one of the perks of being a demo, I pulled out the new silver embossing paste ( yep! It’s coming!) and Wood Textures DSP stack. But do you think I could find my masks? In desperation I pulled out an old pre SU mask from my stash and got to work.
The sentiment is quite pretty and is in one of the new sale-a-bration sets, a 2 box set called Happy Wishes - yes, another sneak peek. I coloured the flowers with our Stampin’ Blends and went over the larger letters with clear Wink of Stella to give a little bling. To embellish I layered up silver ribbon, mini silver sequin trim along with a clear button and silver cord (both retired) - these two items sparkle in the light. I think the card is much prettier in real life.
On this next card you’ll spot a sneak peek - again its a new sale-a-bration stamp set called Lots Of Lavender.
The central panel has been die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The ribbon is white but has been coloured with rich razzleberry stampin' blend.
The fun panda on this card is in the Party Pandas stamp set, which is in the sale-a-bration leaflet.
You’re getting a few sneaky glimpses of upcoming product today! Thinking back to how popular the chickens were earlier this year, these stamps look set to be in demand. Again I’ve used stampin' blends, this time to colour some white sequins.
Today's final card is using the Daisy Delight stamps from the annual catalogue. Sometimes we get so excited to get the new goodies into our hands that we overlook those we already have. The sentiment, also from the annual catalogue is part of a stamp set named Just Add Text.

The centre of each daisy has a crystal clear button, I have a few of these in a retired tub from a little while back. A simply but pretty card.
Looking back over, I can see there's a predominance of pink! Very unusual for me!.
