Shoebox Swaps

Back in December I attended our team Christmas party. As a change from our usual card swap we took part in a shoe box swap. If you haven't heard of this before, let me explain. For our usual swap we make enough cards to take to the event which we then swap with other team members. The idea with a shoe box swap is that you make one swap then prepare the supplies to enable each person taking part to make the card - all these supplies should fit into a shoe box, thus limiting the amount of baggage you need to take with you.
We were put into groups of 8 for the swap, the theme was the new Spring/Summer catalogue.
Today I'd like to share these swaps with you. Before I do, I have to confess, I can't remember which card belonged to which person! So, will post and then edit as I'm able.
Maria's swap was based around the new Stitched Shape Framelits, which have been sooooo popular! In fact, so popular that the warehouse sold out of stock in just 2 weeks! you could choose between a snowman or Santa. However, since her Christmas card was in the same design, I'm going to show that again! You've got to love this reindeer!

Pretty Jar of Love card filled with flowers by Elaine Higham

This cute little chap is from the SAB set Hey Chick. Can't quite make my mind up what to call him since he's still an egg so not quite a chick, but an egg with legs! Created by Katie.

If I remember rightly, this bright, cheery card was designed by Teresa.

Pretty bouquet from Pip

The googly eyes on this hammer card by Jane make me laugh!

And finally, my card. I used the new 'deboss' style embossing folder (Celebrations Duo TIEF) and daubers

I have some more cards showcasing products from the new catalogue which I'll bring to you another time.
