#stillbringingbackbirthdays

I only had one lady on my #imbringingbirthdaysback list for August. Having recently admired a card made by my US 'buddy' Justin Krieger, I tried to CASE his card.
Now, let me say, straight off, that I don't think my card is quite as nice as his, but I'm reasonably happy with the result and hope the recipient, Linda, likes it too.
The leaves are a sneak preview from our upcoming seasonal catalogue which goes live on 1st September. The dies are called Pretty Pines and are available on their own or, for extra saving, as a bundle with a coordinating stamp set. On this card I've used the dies to cut our gold foil card. I've roughed/distressed the edge of the card base and embossed with gold embossing powder. The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum. The backing DSP is from one of my favourite products from the annual catalogue - the Serene Scenery DSP Stack, an absolute bargain at just £9 for 48 sheets, each measuring 6"x 6".
Wishing you a very happy birthday Linda!
