Hello Sunshine!

It must be baby time! Two friends have recently welcomed a new grandchild into their family.
I'd been trying to think of a reason to break out the new starburst die that I'd bought. You know how it is, you buy something and then, once it arrives, you're not quite sure what to make with it! I didn't particularly want a traditional baby card with cutesy images - I'm not good at cutesy!
I cut the Subtles DSP with the die and, prior to sticking it to the white base I used the die as a mask to apply ink. I wanted to give the impression of the sun radiating out.
I finally got to use the 'Welcoming Your New Little Sunshine' stamp from Ray of Sunshine (yet another stamp set I've had for absolutely ages that hadn't yet been used....seems to be a bit of a trend here!). I stamped it onto a doily and attached it to the centre of the die cut image, adding a glimmer paper 'hello' in the right had corner. The whole front was attached to a So Saffron base card. Inside I stamped 'hello sunshine' from the So You stamp set.
To finish off I made an envelope to coordinate using the envelope punch board which I decorated with ribbon and a tag.
Well, I wasn't displeased with the end result, what do you think? I hope you like it!
