Pretty Packages

Hi there!
In my last post I shared my messy desk and some of the packaging I'd been creating. I've two more similar projects today and these are my favourites. In fact, it was very hard to give these away.
I made a Treat Bag using our dies, then die cut a star in the centre and embossed the bag with the Softly Falling embossing folder. There's acetate (window sheet) behind the aperture.
Want to see inside???
Inside I stamped trees in green then stamped stars in versamark before heat embossing followed by inking with 3 different blue inks to create a resist effect. A hole was punched to secure the ornament.
I just love this next project. I recently saw some fab creations by Billie Moan (ramblingrosestudio). She used our sleigh ride thinlets to create a seasonal picture in a small frame which is a Christmas tree ornament. When I saw it I just fell in love with the project but had to wait until our trip last month to see if I could lay my hands on those frames!
In between times, Billie has made many more in different designs but her original still holds my heart. So, having managed to buy some of the frames, I had to recreate her masterpiece! Also a pretty box to hold it.

A box made using the pillow box die - really can't believe that this is retiring - I've cut an aperture using one of the dies that comes in the set, have embossed the box with the softly falling embossing folder then adhered window sheet behind the aperture. You can just see the ornament inside.
I hope you love this as much as I do!
