My Blog Swap

Hello everyone!
You may have noticed that I missed this months Stampin' Creative Blog Hop - Sneak Peek. Unfortunately, I hadn't done my pre-order early enough to enable me to take part. Yes, you read that correctly - pre-order, part of a demonstrators perks - get catalogue and goodies waaaaay before everyone else!
The team had already decided that this hop was to be slightly different, we'd all create enough of our particular project to be able to swap. This gives us 9 different projects to show you. Despite not getting my goodies ordered on time, I still completed the swap projects...without leaving any supplies to make myself one! Duh! But, I did take photos to show you. Here they are, ready to mail. By the way, there are soooo many new products that I've put * beside each to indicate they appear in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue...
This is my project, I pretty pleased with it - a holiday book...
The stamp on the front says 'Soon it will be Christmas day' and is from one of the stamp sets - Cup of Cheer*. The cover is Winter Wonderland vellum* and edged with gold glitter ribbon (comes in a pack of 2)*.
The numbers are our Little Numbers thinlets cut from Gold Glimmer cardstock.
The inside of each book varied slightly but all were covered in one of our latest DSP - Winter Wonderland*, more stamps from both the Wonderland* and Cup of Cheer stamp sets*. The gold circles on both sides are tags inserted into the pockets, embellished with vellum.
The centre pages are whisper white card stamped with the trees from the Wonderland stamp set*, edged in Winter Wonderland washi tape*. The centre inserts, tied with Cording Trim*, are vellum which I've embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder*, I've added the word peace which has been die cut with our Christmas Greetings thinlets* and added a Snowflake Element* which I've embossed with 2 embossing powders - gold and iridescent ice.
Last pages, more of that DSP*, washi tape* and embossing folder*. Another stamp from Cup of Cheer*.
The back cover - again vellum* and glitter ribbon*, and another stamp from Cup of Cheer* .
Here are all the books together, prior to wrapping.
All the products used are available from my shop. The are shown belowand clicking on the one you like will take you to that item in the store. How clever is that! The shop button is also in the right hand column and at the foot of this post, in case you'd like a general browse.
I hope you've enjoyed today's post, do leave a comment. If you'd like a paper copy of the catalogue then let me know - contact details in the right hand column.
