Stampin' Stars Blog Hop

Today sees the arrival of our new annual catalogue - YIPPEE!!! Can you tell that I've been waiting?
To view online, click on the image to the left of this post.
If you've visited my blog before then you'll probably know that each time a new catalogue is released our team organise a Blog Hop to show you some projects using a variety of new products that are in the catalogue.
You may have arrived here from Fiona's blog. In which case you'll have no doubt been spoilt with super projects already.
Whether you're already 'mid hop' or just starting, "Welcome!"
I've got 3 projects to show you today. With 4 more to follow.
The first project is not a card, it's one of those cute 4 oz coffee cups which I've decorated with an underwater theme using the new Sea Street stamp set. This cup is all shiny, it's a shame it doesn't show in the photo's. Hopefully I can get some better shots in daylight and replace these that aren't so sharp.

Where to start? First, I used our fab new alcohol pens - Blendabilities, to colour a piece of window sheet then stamped the fish on top with Staz-On. Next I stamped the octopus in new Blackberry Bliss onto the cup, the fish in Calypso Coral, the crab and lobster in real red. I stuck the window sheet onto the cup, this gave a watery effect.
Spot the lobster and the starfish above, on the sea bed.
I cut away the centre of the lid, stuck on some more window sheet and made a porthole in smoky slate card with silver brads. You can see through the 'water' into the cup.
Filled with fish and chip snacks. I'm sure they won't last long - I've eaten 3 already!

Next is a card made with a couple of stamps from the Traveller stamp set. Blendabilities again to colour the flags, framed in new Lost Lagoon. The same blue is applied with a waterbrush under the ship.

My final project for today has yet to have greetings added. For now I'm just enjoying the fresh look of the Moonlight DSP mat stack which has been mounted on Blackberry Bliss and added to Crumb Cake cardstock.
It's a neverending card so there are 4 images which I feel showcase this lovely paper.

I do hope that you've enjoyed stopping by. If you'd like to 'Hop On' to view the super things that Louise has to show you then just click on the link below...
If you missed being spoilt with ideas by Fiona then you can hop back by clicking on the link below....
Should you wish to start elsewhere on the hop, or you've just got lost then no worries! At the foot of this post is a complete list of all demos taking part and links to their blogs.
Thank you for visiting today......do call again!
