Convention Swaps 2013

Well, here's my little swap. It measures only 2x4 inches and is titled 'Honey'.
Had to prop it up on a speaker to get a clear photo!Although it is very simple there were several steps to making this, and here they are, at the request of Jan Brackpool.
First I cut the smoky slate card to size then embossed it with the woodgrain folder and rubbed ink onto the card. Now for the crushed curry card, emboss with the honeycomb folder and rub with ink, rip into pieces and stick to the smoky slate card. Add some crystal effects to give the impression of honey in a honeycomb and leave to dry.
Stamp the sentiment (from the Creatively Yours stamp set) onto cotton ribbon ,cut to size and stick to card.
Stamp the bee (from the Backyard Basics stamp set) in black staz-on onto window sheets and cut them out with the matching die - yes, all 130 of them! Cut 130 pieces of crushed curry card and stick onto the reverse of the bee to make the 'body'. Bend to shape the bees body and bend the wings upwards. Attach dimensionals and fix to card................
Now repeat this 130 times!!!
