How fortunate that our Team Traing day coincided with World Cardmaking Day today! I had a super day in the company of 22 demonstrators. We each made cards or other items to swap. I'm so chuffed with all that I received.
My own card is not the prettiest, I called it 'Autumn Grunge'.
Stamped, using the Wonderfall & Gorgeous Grunge sets of stamps, onto Naturals Ivory card to give it an organic feel, I wanted to recreate the feeling of walking in the woods.
I've used shades of cajun craze, pumpkin pie and old olive then finished off with gold pen around the edges to 'contain' the image. The word set into embossing powder says 'Gratitude', apt for the seasons fruitfulness. However, my friend's husband said he liked my 'garden card' with the 'slug'! I had to laugh, it did indeed look like a slug.
I hope you like it and it makes you giggle to see the 'slug'!
