Stamp Camp 2012

What a busy day Saturday was. Between 10am - 4pm I held a Stamp Camp. 14 people making 20 cards each. Gosh, it was so hot! Fortunately we had the double doors open but even so we were more than slightly warm. We were openly welcomed by the Salvation Army whose room I hired. I took a dozen 'fuzzifotos' to share with you. Some of the Ladies worked 'as a team'.

Dee & Lesley
A mini team of their own.

Wendy, Steff & Marilyn
Heads down, lots to do. Marilyn & Steff 'hit it off'.

Janet, Pam & Fiona, Sue & Jane

Pam, Fiona, Sue

Pam looks happy! Fiona toils away.

Sylvia & Janet

Deep in thought but working well together

Margaret & Lesley
Not a moment wasted, not a moment to spare!

Wendy
Some people almost forgot to have lunch - including me (I'm hiding).

Jane and Sue are 'absent'. It's Jane's birthday and they're in the kitchen preparing a lovely cream tea for us all. With delicious homemade scones (thanks Sue!) cream and jam. Yummy!

Wanda.    Cathryn
The cavalry arrived. Wanda came in the afternoon to lend a hand to those in need.

Cathryn - my super friend and DTL
Voila!
I haven't posted the samples yet as they were mostly CASE'd and I want to give the originators credit.
It was a big task to complete, some ladies had a lot less experience than others but all coped admirably. Some surprised me by asking when I plan to hold another crafty day.
My lovely ladies all supported me. Some mentored others with less experience - thank you - you know who you are! Thanks too for help with setting up, loan of tools and clearing up at the end. I couldn't have done it without you all!!!
All the prep work was worth it - I enjoyed the day and hope the ladies did too!
