Today is our girlie, Gemma's, birthday. None of the cards I made seemed to 'come together'. My crafty hands were on strike! This is the card that she'll be receiving as there is no more time to make yet another. It's using the Mixed Bunch stamp set from the Summer Mini. Stamped with Versamark and rubbed over with chalk. One image has a mixture of embossing powders on it. I've used the Marine Mist marker pen around the edge of the stamped piece. The inside greeting reads 'Happy birthday to someone who makes others so happy' which is part of the Petite Pairs stamp set. I like the greetings in that set as each greeting can easily be split into two so that part of the greeting can be stamped on the front of the card and part inside. I've opted to stamp the whole greeting inside. There's also a fab new punch to match this set but I ran out of space on this card to use it.

It comes with a imperial (inches!) measurement base, there's an optional metric plate if you'd also like that. I bet you didn't know that you can get a diagonal scoring plate for it too! Priced at £10.95. We weren't supposed to be getting that plate until October when the new catalogue appears but such is the demand of your Stampin' Up! demonstrators, the powers that be have caved in and let us have it now! I saw this in action last Saturday at the Regional Training I attended and was pretty impressed. I was so sure that I didn't need one until I watched the demo. Oh, my aching purse!!! Take a look at the scoreboard in the Summer Mini, then check out the diagonal plate below.
