New Horizons

What a lovely day it is today!

This week you will have seen that the Last Chance list of Retiring products was released. One of those products on the list is the New Horizons patterned paper. I’ve only just opened my pack to make a card. The colours are just lovely and most of the papers reflect todays weather.

Below I’m sharing with you a simple card I made with this DSP, a gatefold birthday card.

The base card is soft succulent with mats in polished pink - not a colour I use often  but it works so well with the base colour and DSP. I stamped some grass and trees onto the DSP using stamps from the same suite.

A very basic sort of card but it lets the patterned paper shine. Just a few little iridescent rhinestones to give some gentle bling.

I can't believe that the every item in the whole suite is on the retiring list - how can that be? The paper itself is beautiful. There is a stamp set with matching dies that has the cutest little fence die, also little pebble embellishments and 2 super rolls of ribbon. This is sure to fly off the warehouse shelves! Below I have shared a list of products I used, but have also included the suite collection should you wish to check it out. Simple click on any image to view it more clearly or to purchase from my shop.

I hope you've enjoyed today's card.

Happy crafting

Lesley
