Seashells For A Friend

I've been playing around with our blending brushes again, finally ending up with a birthday card which I'm really rather pleased with and I'm excited to share it with you today!

The stamp set used is called Friends Are Like Seashells and is featured on page 42 of our seasonal catalogue. From the moment I first spotted this set the whole suite was on my wish list. My first dabble wasn't great so I put the products to one side. But now I'm so glad I persevered!

Three ink pads and lots of blending, here is my card...


The sentiment (from another set - Art Gallery) is embossed in gold.

The images are stamped then coloured with various Stampin' Blends. I added fine tip glue to give a 3D effect on parts of the images.  Below you can see the fine tip glue up close -



The card is finished with sequins from the Whae of a Time suite.

The lady who received this was delighted and has already requested that I run a class featuring this card, so watch for updates on that!

I really hope that it brought a little summer sunshine into her day and that it's inpired you to pull your supplies out.
