New Arrival

Recently two friends welcomed their second grandchild into their respective families. Naturally this calls for congratulations, a card and a gift! I didn't remember to take a photo of the first card before it went into the mail but I'd like to share the most recent one with you.

An extremely simple eclipse card which lets the fabulous patterned paper take centrestage!

This paper is now retired but it's just so cute that I couldn't resist using it.

As usual, I'm a little behind with my mail. I've only just started on my thank you cards for September orders., but I have 3 to share with you today. Again, I've used some retired items but if it's something you love then just use it!

The first makes good use of both the recent digital stamp promotion and the Magnolia Lane Memories and More cards.

Some people make fabulous simple cards. When I go for the 'less is more' technique I struggle. However, giving it another go and here are the results....

Again I've used the digital stamps along with our Heart Punch.

The last card comprises of elements from the now retired Peaceful Poppies Elements to which I added real red and poppy parade ink with an aquapainter on the poppy before finishing with Wink of Stella.
I'm not displeased with the results and do feel that whilst simple, they're suitable for mailing.

Finally, I've put together 9 little treats to be given to the lovely staff in my local Costa. I've missed their warm welcome and seeing them as I'm not able to hold physical coffee and card events. I just wanted to show a little appreciation for each them with this simple gift. The products used are the Nothing's Better Than bundle along with the Little Treat Box and Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

Now I need to deliver them before I eat the contents - belgian chocolate filled with a biscuit cream.
I'll post links below to the products used for these sweet little treat boxes.

Have a good weekend,
Lesley
