Surprise Company

A couple of months back I saw a striking but simple design by an american demonstrator, Lisa loPresti Curcio. Lisa kindly allowed me to CASE her card design. Her original features a different flower stamp and is red and black on white. It immediately reminded me of poppies. I changed up my stamp - I used Everything is Rosy - and colours for a Coffee & Card session in Las Iguanas, Woking.

This is not the best photo as it makes the card appear very crooked.
The ladies could choose to stamp in either flirty flamingo or mint macaron. Here is one in mint macaron...

Isn't it funny how things look so different when you change the colour and/or layout!
So, there we were, two friends and I, crafting in Las Iguanas when I spied a couple of familiar faces outside. Two fellow demos and friends had driven up from Crawley to join us, not only that, they'd also cut up truckloads of cardstock to help me prepare for my Stamp Camp and were hand delivering! How kind is that!  What a surprise too!
Below are the photos of Marilyn, Marion, Cary and Andrea and also of Cary and Andrea on their funky mopeds...

I'm blessed to have the company and help of all these ladies.
Perhaps Lisa's simple design makes you want to create, it's a great layout for any stamp set of patterned paper, so easily adapted.
Have a good weekend,
Lesley
