Shelli To The Rescue!

A friend's birthday and I decided to use a stamp from the (now retired) limited time Paper Pumpkin kit - Hugs From Shelli. Such a pretty stamp, it's a shame that it's not in the main catalogue. Below is an image of all the stamps in the kit. Priced at just £20, it was a steal and also included cards, envelope (boy, they were pretty!), ink and embellishments.

Here is the card I made. The base card is petal pink, a pretty enough colour to which I added a little pool party, foil card, a doily, grey granite ribbon and a few sequins.

I do love the font on this sentiment, and the wording too. The sentiment is on card die cut using Stitched Nested Labels dies.
I used the Stampin' Blends to colours, they blend seamlessly, almost as if printed.
Of course I had to decorate the inside of the card as well as the envelope!

I don't normally 'do' pretty but I was really pleased with the end result.
I hope my friend liked her card and enjoyed a very happy birthday.
Have a crafty week,
Lesley

  2. Hi Jean. thank you for your kind comment. The sentiment stamp (which I omitted to mention) is from a limited time promotional product bundle which ws available in May. Called Everything is Rosy. The font in this set is particularly nice, so I couldn't resist using it. Plus, I also made this card way back in May when both the Rosy set and Paper Pumpkin were current.
