What A Fun Weekend!

Our Onstage event was only just over a week ago but it seems much longer than that. Partly because our internet provider wasn’t providing but also as I've been busy with classes.
Onstage is always a fun event for us demonstrators. The events are held globally and, provided you can get registered (demand for places is high), then you may attend an event in the country of your choice. It's a chance to meet with each other, share in the fun, swap our creations,  watch crafty presentations by talented colleagues and Stampin' Up! staff, win prizes ... and so much more!
Upon registration we collect our event bag. I just love the bag we received this time round. Its a soft but durable cotton, reversible - YAY!- and, whats more, the inside is blue, the pockets are printed with the latest pretty branding.
Inside the bag we usually get a stamp set from the upcoming catalogue, our lanyard and badges, prize patrol badge, pens and often another item. Last time a mug, this time a super light box!. Below you can see some photos of the goodies.

The place was buzzing with people swapping and catching up with friends.
I took part in two swaps which I'll share with you on the next post.
In the hall each place was set with a pretty notebook and toning grid paper. Some had a shade that looked like rich razzleberry, some had a yellow/orange. But, of course, I opted for blue!!!
During the day we had a video presentation by satellite from the US plus many live on stage presentations. We all had a picnic lunch and time to wander all the displays for inspiration and to view many of the new products. Of course we had prize patrol too! I won another new stamp set - Birthday Backgrounds.
We were all VERY grateful not to be kept waiting too long into the event before we received our copy of the upcoming annual catalogue which will be launched to customers in June.
By attending the event we get to receive a paper copy on the Saturday before everyone else - they can view online from the Monday.
Knowing how excited we all get, we have a short break to enable us to browse through and get those pages thumbed! We can't show you the inside yet, but the cover is so pretty!
A further gift was a stamp set which everyone was given - an all attendee giveaway - called Pick A Pennant.

During the afternoon, between presentations, we do some Make and Take cards using new product.
At the end of the event we are allowed to share the contents of the Make and Take box that is on each table by passing the box around until it is empty. I was delighted to be able to bring all these home with me -
We're all pretty tired at the end. The day has been buzzing and we're filled with wonderful ideas to take home with us as well as the large bag of goodies - as you've seen above!
What a fabulous event!!!
Next time you could be there too! Simply join us by purchasing a starter kit to become a demo and remain active through to registration in September. Call or email me for more details. In November we will be celebrating Stampin' Up!'s 30th anniversary.

Have a super weekend,
Lesley x
