Coffee & Card again this week in Costa. I'd bought the Lemon Zest stamp set and coordinating punch as soon as they were released last year but haven't used them very much.
As I don't take my Bigshot and dies to Costa with me, any stamp sets with matching punches are super useful.
I had 9 lovely ladies join me this week - though I forgot to take photos - so it was easier to have two card samples meaning they didn't have to wait around to share things.
The layout on this first card is inspired by a card made by my friend Kim.
The strip of DSP is from a retired pack but worked perfectly with the lemon. The card is in shades of daffodil yellow, crushed curry and old olive.
Unfortunately the only photo I have to share of the second card is one taken whilst the card was in it's cello bag. I apologise for the 'shine'!
The base of this card is always artichoke. The DSP is from the current Tutti Frutti stack, with the various colours on it you can choose many colours to pair it up with. I've chosen peekaboo peach. The washi tape is from my stash - I never seem to use it all up!
I forgot to share a card from our previous session. It uses the Beautiful Peacock stamp set. Not a set that I took a shine to but the ladies loved it. I do love the leaves in this set though. What do you think? Do you like this stamp set?
I hope you have as much fun as we do crafting, it's great to share with friends!
