Stampin' Write Inkin'

Tuesday this week I was once more in Costa doing a Coffee and Card session.
When planning these I need to bear in mind that, as it's a drop in, it could easily be the first time stamping for someone who drops in.
Our Stampin' Write Markers contain the same ink as our ink pads. Perfect for coordination, useful for touching up the odd bit of ink you may have missed, but also great to use direct to stamp. Cost effective too.
The markers were my choice of tool at this session. We used them direct to stamp, combining two colours each time, applying the lighter one first. No two cards are ever exactly the same.
On the first sample I made I used the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set, sentiment from the same set. In crumb cake and pool party, a soft combination.

The second card is bright and zingy in lemon lime twist and tranquil tide. The stamp set is Feather Together.

My third sample is in berry burst and powder pink. The stamp set is Sunshine Sayings, sentiment from Feather Together.

It made a nice change to use the markers again instead of full size ink pad. When you go on a trip it's easy to take every single colour with you to craft with if you take markers as they take up much less space.
I hope I've inspired you to pull those markers out again and play.
Have a great weekend!
