Woodgrain

In the 'Just for Fun' class at the beginning of March we made a tiny desk calendar which I'd spotted. The original was by Dee Slater and was, in my opinion, prettier than the one that we made. However, I'd tasked myself with doing a project with my least favourite sheet in a pack of DSP.
Here is what we made.

I shouldn't have worried. The ladies said they loved it...even the colours!
To further use the Woodgrain stamp we also made 3 cards. Now, I have to warn you that I've since got ink all over this next one,so it's looking a tad tatty!
Having said that, this is also a dreadful photo and it does look so much nicer IRL. In shades of smoky slate and blushing bride.

Next we made a replica but slightly more man'ish.
Our final card is probably my favourite of the evening, despite me having chopped the bottom of it off in this photo!
The card itself is in crumb cake and whisper white, so not as yellow as it appears here!
