Team Training Sept 2012

It's that time again, our Team training is on Saturday and that means swaps, 19 this time around.
Since I LOVE autumn I thought I'd make use of the new Wonderfall stamp set, matching Sizzix die, woodgrain embossing folder and Core'dinations cardstock.
Yes!!! That's right, Stampin' Up have now included Core'dinations in our Autumn/Winter 2012 Catalogue. It come in 3 shades. Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and delicious Early Espresso. Having used this cardstock since it first hit the market, I'm delighted to see it's debut in our latest catalogue, making it a must for my swaps.
I was a bit stumped as to what to make, we have soooo many talented ladies. I finally came up with a giant tag. The reverse has a recipe attached for pumpkin muffins - so right for this time of year. I'm hoping to attach the tag to a cellophane bag which has one of the muffins inside but it's a little early to make them which is why I've only got a picture of the tag to show you just now.

Yes, I know, there are 20 in the photo but I needed one to keep for myself! I like the way the September sun is shadowing across the picture.

Here's a close up of one tag. They're all cut from shades of green, yellow or orange. Some from cardstock others from the pack of brights DSP. Then they've been stamped in either old olive, garden green, cajun craze or pumpkin pie. The bow is our new 1/4 inch stitched grosgrain in daffodil yellow. I'll use that throught the top of the tag to tie to the cellophane muffin bag.

This 'fuzzifoto' shows the reverse. Once I'd printed the recipe I got to work with the inks and wonderfall stamps to edge the page.

Let's hope I get to actually make the muffins, it's supposed to be sunny again over the next couple of days so I'm off to the beach to walk on the sand.
